From the beginning the course impressed players with its variety, forcing individuals to utilize all the games skills to handle a very diverse layout. Originally a Langford & Moreau design, unveiled in 1924, the course has seen several redesigns over the years. A major overhaul of the course was completed in 2007. The golf course architect firm Jacobsen Golf Course Design was hired to redesign several holes and present a vastly new look for the members. All playing surfaces were completely renovated with distance added to fairways as well as new bunker locations and other special nuances to shorter holes that will engage the mind as much as the body. With all the changes, one thing remains: Happy Hollow's commitment to providing the best possible experience every time a member takes to our greens. |
