Congratulations to our Merchandise Coordinator, Amy Peterson, and the Den Staff on once again being selected to the AGM Platinum Awards which recognizes the top 100 golf shops in the world! This is a major achievement as HHC is recognized along some of the most renowned golf shops in the world. Thank you to all our members and guests for their continued support this past year which made this possible!
Being selected as the Facility of the Year in the Nebraska Section PGA is the pinnacle of recognition for the team’s efforts at Happy Hollow in 2020. Since March, I had the privilege and honor to have a front row seat in witnessing the entire staff go above and beyond in providing and displaying value to the members and guests under tremendously difficult pandemic challenges. I am so honored to be part of this team at Happy Hollow.
Very hard for me to put in words what this award means. While the award itself is to an individual, I believe it was only possible with the support of many. This is something I will never take for granted. I want to thank the facilities I have been associated with, ArborLinks, Norfolk Country Club, and Happy Hollow. These facilities allowed me to give my time to the Nebraska Section which meant time away from my role at the facility and the daily operations. I am completely humbled and honored to receive the 2020 Golf Professional of the Year award in the Nebraska Section PGA.
I have been fortunate during my career to have worked for men like Jim White and John Frillman who were strong examples of helping our fellow PGA professionals. Not to mention the many wonderful people I work with now and through the last forty years of my career. They all have a piece of this because they all influenced me in some way. I’m grateful and humbled. I will continue doing my best to represent this wonderful award.
I’m incredibly honored to be awarded the Assistant Professional of the Year by a committee of my peers! I’m beyond blessed to work with the team I do at Happy Hollow Club that allows me to use my skill sets to perform the best I can for my membership. It’s always nice to be recognized for working hard and putting in the fullest effort in every aspect of my job! Thank you to everyone that helped me get to this point in my career!
I’m a creative guy and lucky to work with a staff and membership that promotes that creativity and really allows me to push the boundaries of fresh, new ideas. I’m very passionate about merchandising, creating cool new products and giving people the highest quality service that I can. Being recognized for that just drives me to be even better and get more creative!
